This car was first featured in Hot Rod magazine in 1963, was also used in a feature on how to roll pans and another one on how to paint flames. 1923 FORD T-BUCKET ROADSTER – 935 viewsRed & Ready!!! Very nice black interior, excellent wood steering wheel, wood dash with all gauges including tachometer and radio with two speakers. It has a freshly majored fully chromed Ford Mustang 289 with a Holley four barrel carburetor, automatic transmission, Mustang shifter and an 8 inch Ford rear end. The wheels are period perfect slotted mags and the tires are in excellent shape. The car runs great and stops good on rear drum brakes, it also has a newly installed front disc brake assembly. It was completely dismantled and painted including the frame. I believe all the mechanics have been done and it seems to be a very nice body with excellent fenders and bumpers. The engine is a Ben Adams built 365 cubic inch Caddy bored .30 over with an Isky Cam, all valves and seats are stainless, it is balanced and puts out 345 horse. The tranny is a stock Jet-A-Way automatic using a floor shifter. The body is all steel with many modifications including '58 Caddy fins and bumper parts.
