2007 DEVILS RUN DETAILS Registration is at the Chamber Of Commerce, NOT the Comfort Inn!! Plans are mostly completed for the “Best Ever” Devils Run, North America’s Hottest Car Show and Rod Run held in God’s Country, Devils Lake, ND. This years dates are June 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, 2007
For the 15th Anniversary of
Devils Run the Spirit Lake Casino will present
"THE
DIVAS OF DOO WOP"
This includes
Shirley Alston Reeves, original lead of The
Shirelles, The Chiffons and The
Crystals
I am attending lot's of
meetings with the community leaders, service clubs, merchants
and many others individuals. Each of these groups/people are
promising to help put together the best Devils Run ever in 15
years.
We are planning a full
week of events for men, women and children that will begin with
the Spirit Lake Riders Memorial Motorcycle Rally on May 26th,
27th & 28th and end with the 15th Annual Devils Run June 1st,
2nd & 3rd.
So........ if you would be
interested in a trip to the Geographical Center of North
America, the Hawk Museum, the International Peace Gardens,
Dinner Cruises and much much more please plan your vacation now
and join us May 26th through June 3rd, 2007.
We will be posting a
schedule soon, you are welcome to attend everything or join us
anytime that week. All activities leading up to Devils Run are
open to everyone but special interest vehicles will lead the
groups and have special parking areas.
Devils Run itself is
limited to Special Interest Vehicles and will include things as
in the past, such as Steak Fry's, Breakfast's, Lunches,
Entertainment in the Park, Poker Runs, Parade, Show & Shine,
Door Prizes, Car Auction, Two Street Dances, Burnouts, Balance
Beam, Flame Throwing, Muffler Rapping, etc. We are also working
hard to bring some new activities for everyone. Registration Jan 1st to May 1st is $30. and after
May 1st it is $40.
DEVILS RUN UNDER 21 AWARDS Lake Region State College will offer scholarships again, this time in the amount of $1,000. to be awarded in 4 distributions of $250. per semester. The recipient must enroll full time, beginning fall semester and maintain a GPA of 2.5. Both LRSC instructors will attend the LRSC booth on Sunday in Roosevelt Park. Snap-On Tools, Jeff Millar will also be giving three real nice prizes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the under 21 and the North Dakota Street Rod Association will award a very nice plaque to the NDSRA under 21 pick.
