1930 MODEL A HIGH BOY TUB - SOLD
This is one of
those cars that if you had the chance to drive it you
would have to have it!!!! It is built rat rod style but
handles perfect, drives straight at any speed, rides
great, is reliable and is comfortable for long
distances!!!
The body is a 1930
Model A Sedan with the top cut off and is all steel
reinforced with square tubing, the doors both open and
close properly and have new latches and handles.
The engine is a
1968 Corvette 327 300 Hp bored .0040 over with an
Offenhauser 3 deuce intake manifold . Exhaust is thru
Speedway Motors Highboy headers. The transmission is a
Turbo 350 with a Lokar shifter. The rear end is a '55
Chevrolet with 350 gears and drum brakes mounted with
Speedway adjustable coil over shocks.
The front axle is a
dropped 4" and is mounted with disc brakes, (stops
perfectly straight!). The tires and chrome wheels are
excellent with less than 2,500 miles on them. Steering
is thru a Mustang steering box.
Other features
include '39 Ford Banjo steering wheel, working signal
lights, brake lights and bright and dim headlights,
S-W gauges (all working
properly), electronic speedometer, Walker radiator (runs
cool, no overheating!), '98 Ford Escort leather seats,
12 gallon gas tank
