1956 MERCURY
MEDALIST 2 DOOR HARDTOP - $24,995.
Here is
a very nice Mercury 2 door hardtop that was manufactured in California,
car was bought in 1998 in California and garage kept since. It has had a
factory style Continental Kit and fender skirts installed enhancing the
appearance. The 312 cubic inch Mercury engine and a three speed manual
transmission both are in excellent condition. A 4 barrel Edelbrock
carburetor has been installed to update the performance, (the car starts
instantly and runs very smooth). The body is in excellent condition and
has been painted 1993 Ford teal and Nissan white with some pearl added
to the paint.
The
glass, interior, seats, carpet and headliner are excellent, the original
AM radio plays well, the tires and spare are in good condition, it has a
telescoping antenna, ooga horn plus the standard horn. The stainless and
chrome are also in good condition, the tail lights have been replaced
but the originals go with the car.
My wife
drove this car over 120 miles this past week and she was impressed with
the smooth ride and how nice the car handled at highway speeds. You can
