Here is a realistically
priced Street Rod that has been on the road for 15 years and has
never left the owner on the road with problems. It is very
dependable but does need to be cosmetically refreshed.
the reliable 302 Ford engine,
electronic ignition, C-4
Automatic Transmission, 9” Ford Rear End, Mustang II front
spring rear, new Walker
radiator, new battery and
rack & pinion manual steering.
The all steel body (any
rust was repaired on the original build), the front
fenders have been changed to 1-piece and molded together,
windshield no longer flips out, working cowl vent, nose on
grill/hood have been
reformed, roof was filled, the
front doors are opened
by solenoid, reach in to open rear doors, radio does
not work. Electric
front seats, frenched license plate in rear, ’39 teardrop tail
lights, locking gas filler, the
trunk lid opens
with a button in gas
tank door area.
This car gets almost 30 mpg and runs good,
down road and handles nice.
As far as I know, there are no major issues with this
does have ghost flames and an older paint with some minor dings
and scratches. Interior is
showing wear from many years of driving it around.
Mileage is unknown, it was on the road first in 1997, has
been to St. Paul "Back to the
50's" several times plus many
other car shows and rod runs.
It does have a
clear 1936 Ford title and is ready to be driven home or shipped
